This is the story of Charlie, a cavalier king charles spaniel who has Syringomyelia, and the family who adopted him on October 23, 2007. This is also the story of his family, how they came to the decision to apply for Charlie, what it is like to deal with severe Syringomyelia symptoms on a daily basis and their journey towards and through decompression surgery in their attempt to alleviate Charlie’s pain.
Colin and Cathy live in Ohio and are owned by four wonderful cavaliers named India, Geordie, Chocolate, and now Charlie. Charlie has blended into his new family.
